Here's the scripture that stuck this week:
II Samuel 18:33 NKJV
"Then the king was deeply moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept. And as he went, he said thus: “O my son Absalom—my son, my son Absalom—if only I had died in your place! O Absalom my son, my son!”
This scripture always moves me every time I come by it. A true father's love....after all Absalom had done, David still loved him. Very much a picture of our Heavenly Father's love for us.
