Want or Need: INTERNET

In an ever-growing materialistic society, it's becoming more difficult to distinguish the difference between what we really want and what we really need. It's time for you to weigh in on this discussion. It's real simple...is it a want or a need?

For me the internet is my source of income so I need it.

Outside of that it's a want.

It simply makes life simpler, but at the end of the day I want it, I dont need it.

I would like to say it is a need because I love to be on it. Life would be very diffrent and I would have to make a lot of changes, if I would lose the internet, that I don't particularly want to but I could ajust to it. It is a want.

OK, so this is an odd one. The internet itself is a reality, want it, need it, don't want it, don't need it, does it matter? It is there, like it or not, love it or hate it, or whatever. Now, as to having easy access to the internet, such as at home or at the library for non-work related stuff (ie facebook and blogging, etc...) I have to say that, while it can be a good thing, at the end of the day, this too is a want.
