Music Monday 31

This is a post that you can participate in on every Monday. Everyone likes music, and there are obviously many tastes in music. This is here to see what different types of music are filling everyone's lives. Chime in!

I performed my first wedding this past Saturday, so...

If you are married, what song(s) did you have played. If you're not married, what's your favorite song you've heard at a wedding?

We had the song, "Love of My Life" by Jim Brickman & Michael W. Smith during the unity candle. I remember it was weird cause we had to stand there until the song ended.

your turn...

We had "All You Need is Love" sung by you..lol.

The we used the Spider Pig theme for our recessional, the Charlie Brown theme at dinner and our first dance was to "I Finally Found Someone" by Bryan Adams and Barbra Streisand.

I would completely change this now, but (and just about everything about the wedding in general (EXCEPT the groom!))... one of Devin's-friends-mom sang "When you say nothing at all" by Allison Krauss during a slide-show before the ceremony started. Then during the unity candle lighting she sang "Wedding Song" (I think was the name of it). And I have to agree that it wasn't fun just standing around waiting for the song to end.
