Movie Monday XXXIX

This is a post that you can participate in on every Monday. I'm a big fan of the cinema, so I decided to break up the Monday blues by talking about movies.

The other night, I watched the last 30 minutes of Rambo II on TV. So...

What's your favorite Rambo movie?

Without hesitation, I will say First Blood. Then again, I seem to always like the first ones most of the time. How can you beat John Rambo, with his "hippy" hair, up against the podunk town sheriff? Great flick.

your turn...

I remember my Dad taking me to see this movie as a third grader. Without my mom's knowledge of course. I think he supposed to take me to see Tron or something...

I never remembered much about the movie except the blood. Then I saw it as an adult and First Blood is a great flick. I hadn't seen any of the others until a couple months ago. Enjoyed the second one too...but I agree...First Blood was the classic.

Well, I have to say, you are probably right, First Blood probably is the best, though I enjoyed all 4 of them. That said however, even though First Blood was probably the best, since the question is which is my favorite, I think I have to say, First Blood Part 2, because I so vividly remember watching it with my dad. Dad wasn't a big movie watcher, so it was something to get him to watch a movie with me at all, but he got so into that movie. At the end when the CIA dude asked Rambo, "What do you want us to do? Bomb Hanoi!?!?" Dad jumped right out of chair and yelled at the TV "YES!!!!" And he had the whole fist in the air and everything. So yeah, Dad made First Blood Part 2 my favorite Rambo flick.
