Word Wednesday .::56

Word Wednesday is posted every Wednesday. Each week I post a scripture that I've read that week that has spoken to me in a fresh way. I believe that if we read God's Word every day, He will give us at least one scripture every week that will impact us. Sharing Scripture with each other is like iron sharpening iron. Leave a comment and share a scripture that has impacted you this week.

Here's the scripture that stuck this week:

Genesis 31:4-9 The Message

4-9 So Jacob sent word for Rachel and Leah to meet him out in the field where his flocks were. He said, "I notice that your father has changed toward me; he doesn't treat me the same as before. But the God of my father hasn't changed; he's still with me. You know how hard I've worked for your father. Still, your father has cheated me over and over, changing my wages time and again. But God never let him really hurt me. If he said, 'Your wages will consist of speckled animals' the whole flock would start having speckled lambs and kids. And if he said, 'From now on your wages will be streaked animals' the whole flock would have streaked ones. Over and over God used your father's livestock to reward me.

It's amazing what happens when we simply trust God. If we our firm in our faith, we can really see God do incredible things in our life. We'll never see miracles, unless we exercise our faith.

What's your Word?

Isaiah 35:3-7

God is moving in a powerful way at our church- and this scripture talks about how barren dry desert places will spring forth as pools of refreshing! it's happening in Silsbee! Praise God!
