Movie Monday XXXVII

This is a post that you can participate in on every Monday. I'm a big fan of the cinema, so I decided to break up the Monday blues by talking about movies.

Let's talk about trilogies.

What's your favorite trilogy?

I know the respected ones are Lord of the Rings & the two Star Wars trilogies, and loved those. But, if I'm gonna pick a trilogy that I really would like to sit and watch right now, I'm gonna say the Bourne trilogy. I know...go easy on me.

your turn...

I'm sorry, I'm confused, are we going for the best or the worst? :o)

I think you'd have trouble beating The Lord Of The Rings for best Trilogy.

I'm voting for Daniel. He hasn't seen this post yet but I know how he'll vote.

Mine is the Godfather.

for me it's either Back to the Future or Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Godfather is amazing, but I'll go with Baz Luhrmann's "Red Curtain Trilogy" ("Strictly Ballroom" "Romeo & Juliet" and "Moulin Rouge.") The style he developed over these was so striking.
