Movie Monday X

This is a post that you can participate in on every Monday. I'm a big fan of the cinema, so I decided to break up the Monday blues by talking about movies.

We had an amazing Night of Worship at our church last night...a lot of music. So, I thought I'd open up the discussion of music in the movies.

What's your favorite score in a movie?

There's a lot of amazing scores in movies. It's what makes a movie greatness. It brings so many different emotions to a setting. I'm gonna say my favorite is an old 90's flick, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I've always loved that movie, and I love the musical score. I guess I should buy that some day.

your turn...

i'm stuck between "Gladiator" or "The Village". i might have to comment again later with results, but i'm not sure it's possible!

Well, John Williams and "Star Wars" is a no-brainer...but I'd have to say my current fave is August Rush.

I found the score for There Will Be Blood totally compelling.

And go MandoRon with TMFSR - classic Australian cinema :-)

Well... Mission Impossible is the only soundtrack I've ever purchased and it's Danny Elfman, so you know it's gotta be good!
