Word Wednesday is posted every Wednesday. Each week I post a scripture that I've read that week that has spoken to me in a fresh way. I believe that if we read God's Word every day, He will give us at least one scripture every week that will impact us. My hope is to see others comment and share a scripture that they have read.
Here's the scripture that stuck this week:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 ESV
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
We all fall down and with God's power we can get up. Sometimes, God uses people to help us up. God never meant for us to be alone, even from the beginning of man. I'm pretty independent, but I can't live Christianity out alone. I need others to sharpen me and I need real friends to be truthful with me and love me at the same time. Even songwriting is becoming more effective as people are writing together more and more and creating greater works. I appreciate my small group that I'm in every week, and friends that inspire me to be better. Great scripture and reminder.
